Thomas Bros. Maps GeoFinder

GeoFinder®

GeoFinder® is a discontinued product. Thomas Bros. Maps® ceased development of GeoFinder in 1998 and began focusing development on the next generation of products, called the Thomas Guide Digital Edition™ (TGDE). TGDE has an add-on feature pack called the ToolBox that adds many of the features GeoFinder users rely on, in addition to some new tools.

Although ToolBox is NOT an upgrade to GeoFinder and uses a completely different mapping engine and data structure, Thomas Bros. Maps has made every effort to make TGDE ToolBox a better, more powerful, and easier to use product.

The Database capabilities of GeoFinder are not inherent in ToolBox. Instead ToolBox is fully compatible with Microsoft Access©. TGDE ToolBox uses the MS Access file format (.mdb extension) to save all files, which can be opened and edited in Access.
