The Handheld Street Index installs on many Pocket PC and Palm devices. It is a handy way to lookup the Street Guide Page and Grid of streets in the Rand McNally Street Guide Digital Edition. Please note, this is not a method to geocode exact address locations. It will return the Page and Grid of the nearest visible street text to the location you are trying to find, just as the index in the back of the book will do.

Download the installation EXE below to your computer, then run it to install the Handheld Street Index to your Pocket PC or Palm Pilot.

When you begin the download of the exe, save it to a temporary folder or your desktop, then double-click on the file icon to start the Service Pack installation.

Version 1.0.1 has the following improvements over 1.0.0:
1. Fixes the "25 Results" dialog that is too large and cannot be closed.
2. Fixes error message trying to lookup a Page&Grid from Outlook Contacts on Pocket PC 2002 and Pocket PC running StrongARM processors.
3. Fixes the desktop setup which cannot be uninstalled.
